A successful Application Engineer posses excellent communication skills, highly organized and can work independently. You will be responsible person for searching and adapting Renewable Energy Application Solutions to Industry/OEM customers to contribute continuous business growth. You´ll be part of new created business unit within the company.
This position requires frequent travel to customer sites, installation sites, and meetings.
Your task at this position:
- Responsibility for support sales regions with technical expertise and onsite support when needed.
- Work extensively with Business Development teams to evaluate and develop applicable solutions.
- Develop internal training plans and documentation for new and existing PV members.
- Provide technical support and guidance for escalated issues to the PV team.
- Promote and expand NOARK/CHINT service reputation in the European PV market.
- Participation in trade shows and exhibits providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Close cooperation with Product Management Teams to develop new solutions for customers.
- Management and creation of manuals for PV products.
- Providing product presentations and trainings to customers.
- Responsible for Claim Management.
- Support customers with system design questions and service calls.
- Creation of articles and their publication in professional journals
Our expectations from you:
- University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiar with photovoltaic technology and/or industry (Photovoltaic/Energy Storage/EV Charger).
- 3+ years working experience from similar role in PV or other Renewable Energy industries OEM, EPC or System Integrator.
- Strong technical understanding of distributed energy technologies and solutions, combination of solar panels, battery, converters and reciprocating engines/turbines is a significant asset.
- Work independently or with supervision and achieve established goals and objectives.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
- Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills and ability to technical problem-solving.
- Ability to write correspondence and reports clearly and concisely.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Ability to travel within Europe.
